THANKS AND CONGRATULATIONS

To the people of Harris County who have allowed me to serve as judge for the last twenty years, thank you for the confidence you placed in me. Being a judge is the highest civil honor any person can have. To the many jurors and attorneys who have appeared in the 11th District Court, thanks for the time and energy you devoted to our system of Justice.

Final results show that Mike Miller recieved more votes than I did, and he will become the 27th Judge of the 11th District in January. Judge-Elect Miller is a very good lawyer and an honorable gentleman, and will serve the people of Harris County well. I wish him the best. We have already begun making a seamless transition.
